Speaker’s background:
Jude Maranga graduated as Magna Cum Laude from Cebu Institute of Technology University with a degree of BS Computer Science last 2018 and was the top college graduate across all programs in the whole university.
He has joined and won numerous programming competitions and hackathons when he was still a student such as the Microsoft Imagine Cup, Accenture’s Program The Future, and UnionBank’s U-Hack Hackathon. He is also the first one in the Philippines to have gotten a Proxor Rating of 1, the highest rating from the Proxor Certification Exam.
He is the Founder of CodeChum (www.codechum.com), a programming teacher’s tool to simplify grading and evaluate students effortlessly. CodeChum is now being adopted by several schools and universities nationwide to deliver quality programming education.
