On April 26, 2025, Engr. Hazel Galas Lampitoc, PCpE was recognized as a Guest Speaker in an ICpEP webinar hosted on Google Meet. The event brought together students and professionals from across regions who share the same passion for technology and innovation.
The webinar was titled “Unleashing Innovation Through Convergence: Forging the Future of Technology, One Mind at a Time.” It focused on how collaboration and shared knowledge can help future engineers adapt to the fast-changing tech world.
Engr. Hazel, a Senior Computer and Biomedical Engineer based in Saudi Arabia, shared practical insights based on his professional journey. He spoke about the importance of continuous learning, exploring career paths, and embracing new technologies like AI, cybersecurity, and healthcare systems. His talk highlighted how OFWs can contribute to the tech industry globally while empowering the next generation through mentorship and shared experience.
His contribution left a strong impression on the participants, many of whom were inspired to keep learning and think bigger about their role in tech. For his support and dedication, he received a Certificate of Appreciation signed by Engr. Nathaniel Z. Demandaco, PCpE (ICpEP R9 President) and Engr. Cuird J. Santos, PCpE (ICpEP R9 VP for Internal Affairs).
